5. Bring back Mikell. The only player remaining from the Super
Bowl team.  Mikell turns 31 right after opening day next year and is a free agent.  The Eagles typically part ways with players
who are free agents that are on the plus side of 30. Mikell is a
locker room leader, and a very durable player-only missed 4 games in his career.  He is a great teacher for young safties such as Kurt Coleman and Nate Allen.  The Eagles should find a way to resign him for the right money.

4. Resign David Akers.  Akers is simply put the greatest Kicker in Philadelphia Eagles
history.  His playoffs misses from 41 and 34 yards hurt the Eagles against the Packers.
That said, Akers is a pro bowl caliber kicker who is typically dependable for the Eagles
in clutch spots.  The 13-year pro has converted on 82% of his regular season FG attempts.  In an NFL where alot of teams struggle to find a dependable place kicker, the Eagles would be foolish to part ways with Akers.

3. Improve the Offensive Line.  The left side is solid, but the right side of the line needs
some work. Enough with Nick Cole and Max Jean-Gilles.  They are both good depth players, not starters.  Guard Logan Mankins, would be a huge free agent signing for the
Birds who have spent big money on O-Lineman before.  Another option is to bring back Jamaal Jackson at center, assuming he can get healthy, and swing Mike McGlynn to right guard.  I am not ready to give up on Winston Justice just yet, but his play certainly didn't get any better this season.  His two penalties on the same play in the wildcard game were very frustrating.  I wouldn't be suprised if RT King Dunlap-who stabilized the play after replacing Justice against the Packers- replaced Justice at RT next season.  This is Michael Vick's blindspot, and the protection needs to be there.

2. Franchise Mike Vick. Then try and work out a long-term extension.  Keep Kevin Kolb unless you can get an early first rounder for him.  The Eagles cant afford to give Kolb away for a second-rounder.  Vick plays reckless football, he never slides, and because of that is an injury risk.  The Eagles must have a solid back-up QB they trust. Kolb is that guy.  Not to mention you defer a decision on the QB of the future for another season.

1. Sign Nnamdi Asomugha. It’s pronounced Nahm-Dee Ah-So-MOO-Wah.
Asomugha, like Asante Samuel, is a ballhawk who opposing quarterbacks rarely throw at. He signed a three-year, $45.3 million contract with the Raiders last February, but language in the deal allowed him to void the final year of the contract and prohibits the Raiders from retaining his rights by tagging him. We know the Eagles desperately need a cornerback. We know Asomugha is desperate to play for a contender. We know the Eagles will have money to spend this offseason. We know the Eagles have never been hesitant to go after the top available free agents.
