Eagles prove they are Super Bowl contenders in wide open NFC

Can the Eagles make it to Dallas for Super Bowl XLV?  Why not!  In a year where it appears there is no dominate team in the NFC, the Birds may have as good of a chance as anyone.   Not to mention their Quarterback Michael Vick is having an MVP like season.  He is playing like a video game, surrounded by alot of young weapons on
offense that support him just fine.   It could come down to the Birds young defense.  A defense with alot of promise that has made strides as of late.   Stewart Bradley looks to be getting close to his old-self beforehis injury, Dimitri Patterson and Asante Smauel
are interception machines, and Kurt Coleman looks like a young playmaker in the making.  As he did at Ohio State when he haunted Penn State for years.   Simply put, the Birds have talent on "D". but they are young.  The way the offense can put up
points, they may only need to be slightly better than average and get a few stops.  Bottom line, if we stay healthy and the defense continues to grow up, this could finally
be the year Andy Reid and company get their first Super Bowl ring.
